CF & CV CAPS Project Idea Submission

Thank you for your interest in partnering with CAPS! Our associates are juniors and seniors who bring real skills and fresh energy to projects that are 8, 9, or 10 on your organization's list of things to do — at no cost.

Before submitting, please keep a few things in mind:

From the CAPS End:

  • Student-associates dedicate approximately 40–50 hours to each project within a single semester, typically within an 8–12 week timeframe. Keep this in mind when thinking of the scope of the project.
  • Student-associates are not necessarily content specialists in your field.

As a client, your engagement is essential. Plan for:

  • A minimum check-in meeting every two weeks (weekly has shown to produce better outcomes)
  • Timely responses to emails — this is vital to keeping the project moving within a short timeframe
  • Ongoing feedback to the associate and CAPS instructor throughout the project

Every submission is added to our Project Board and reviewed by CAPS staff. Submission does not guarantee selection. Projects are matched based on associate interest and fit.
